Brashear Bolton, inc. is a full service architectural firm providing design and architectural services for renovations and new construction in a wide variety of building types. Our talented and experienced staff approaches each project with open-minded vision, and skillfully applies its energy and resources to each task. We are committed to fully understanding our client's needs and desires from the beginning and keeping these foremost in our minds as we pursue our goal of providing a design solution that realizes our client's goals.
Many of our clients' projects are small to medium in size and are on urgent timetables. Because our firm is small, we are able to provide a responsive, efficient service to accommodate such projects. For larger projects, we combine forces with a larger firm. Brashear Bolton is a team oriented firm. We use a team approach within our office, and beyond, working as a member of a project team that includes affiliates, consultants, building officials, contractors, and, the most important team member, the client. Experience has proven that this approach produces excellent projects and happy clients.
Project types include civic, retail, commercial, office, multi- and single-family residential, religious, institutional, and entertainment. Locally, the resurgence of downtown living in Cincinnati has spurred market-rate condominium design, condominium interior design, as well as affordable housing design and retail design in urban Cincinnati. Our recent experience includes several projects in each of these categories. We at Brashear Bolton are proud to count ourselves among modern Cincinnati architects who are playing a part in renovating Cincinnati.
In addition to our mainstream architectural practice, we have a subspecialty in regulatory code consultation, working with other architectural firms, contractors, developers, and building owners to resolve building and zoning code issues on their projects. As in our design practice, our client's goal is our singular focus.
Joe Brashear has served as an expert witness in a variety of legal matters, ranging from personal injury cases involving building code violations, to zoning disputes, to eminent domain cases in which he has been retained to critique the blight studies that form the basis for the condemnation and taking of property.
Brashear Bolton is extensively involved in the older neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio, Newport, Kentucky and Covington, Kentucky. Our offices are located in Cincinnati's largest historic neighborhood, Over-The-Rhine, and many of our projects are in designated historic districts. For these projects, we can provide not only architectural services, but also historic tax credit certification for buildings that qualify.
